Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistant Director/ District Youth Coordinator, Jr Computer Programmer, Sr Hindi Translator, Assistant, Librarian, Steno Grade II, Computer Operator, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Lower Division Clerk, Multi Tasking Staff Posts.
Assistant Director/ District Youth Coordinator- 160 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level- 10
Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
Assistant- 38 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level- 6
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. Three years experience in Administration and Accounts.
Accounts Clerk cum Typist- 58 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level- 4
B.Com of a recognized university or. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with 2 year experience in Accounts work. Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi. Knowledge of Computer application.
Lower Division Clerk- 12 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level- 2
12th Class or Equivalent qualification from a Board of University. Typing Speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi on manual typewriter or a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on Computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 key depressions/9000 key depressions on average of 5 key depressions of each word).
Multi Tasking Staff- 23 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level- 1
Matriculation or equivalent.
Jr Computer Programmer- 17 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level- 7
Master Degree in Computer Science or B.E./ MCA from a recognized University.
Sr Hindi Translator- 1 Vacancy, Pay Matrix Level- 7
Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English or with English. Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as a medium or examination at degree level. OR Master’s degree of recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject or either of two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject at degree level.
Librarian- 1 Vacancy, Pay Matrix Level- 6
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent . Degree/Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
Stenographer Grade II- 23 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level- 6
12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Skill Test Norms: Dictation: 10 mts @80wpm; Transcription: 65mts (Eng), 75mts (Hindi) on manual typewriter or 50 mts (Eng.), 65 mts (Hindi) on computer. Equivalent speed of 100/80 wpm in English & Hindi stenography and 40/25 wpm in typewriting in English & Hindi. Working knowledge of computer.
Computer Operator- 4 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level- 5
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. Should posses a speed of not less than 8000 key depression per hour for Data Entry work. One year certificate course in computer from a recognized Institute.

Presently Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan NYKS has 623 district offices called Nehru Yuva Kendra and 29 State Offices, in India. Nehru Yuva Kendra is headed by a district level officer called District Youth Coordinator.
District Youth Coordinator- 101 Vacancies
Qualification: Candidates must possess Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
Candidates having three years experience in Youth Activities/ Rural Development/ other social sectors including voluntary work in a reputed organization will be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 Years as on 01-Jan-2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay: Selected candidates will be placed in the level-10 (56100-177500). During two year training cum probation, candidates will be paid salary & other allowances attached to the post as being paid to other employees of the Sangathan. On successful completion of their Probation Period, they will be absorbed in the same level-10 (56100-177500) Pay Index-III.
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)- 52 Vacancies
Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Candidates worked as NSV/RSY/NYC for a minimum period of one year will be preferred.
Candidates should have Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi. Knowledge of Computer application.
Candidates possess two years experience as National Service Volunteer (NSV)/ Rashtriya Sadbhavana Yojana (RSY) Volunteer or National Youth Corps (NYC) Volunteer; and/ or PG Degree of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) will be preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years Maximum 25 Years as on 31-December-2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay: Selected candidates will be placed in the level-1 (18000-56900). During two year training cum probation, they will be paid salary & other allowances attached to the post as being paid to other employees of the Sangathan. On successful completion of their Probation Period, they will be absorbed in the same level-1 (18000-56900).
Accounts Clerk cum Typist- 75 Vacancies
Qualification: Candidates must possess B.Com of a recognized university Or Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with 2 year experience in Accounts work.
Candidates should have Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi. Knowledge of Computer application.
