About Company:

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is the flagship Company from India which has attained MAHARATNA status in April, 2012. This Company has been ranked the 2nd in the world in the Energy and Petroleum Sector. As a subsidiary of ONGC, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL), is operating around the Mangalore coast and is one of the major shareholders of success of ONGC.

Educational Qualification: B.Sc. (Chemistry)/ Diploma in Chemical Engineering with minimum two years relevant experience.

The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination for Workmen vacancies:

General/ OBCL 60%

SC/ ST/ PWD: 40%

Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on September 30, 2012

There is 5 years age relaxation for SC/ ST, 3 years age relaxation for OBC, 10 years age relaxation for PC candidates. Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen as per Government norms.

Application Fees:

For General/ OBC candidates: Rs. 350/- + Bank’s commission

SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Candidates are suggested to download the Challan format from MRPL website, and submit the same in SBI (any Branch) in the Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited Account Number 00000010981274266 (IFSC Code – SBIN0000871).

Interested and eligible candidates must apply ONLINE only by logging on to www.mrpl.co.in. Candidates are suggested to send the print out of online application form completed in all manners along with acknowledgement slip after affixing photograph along with photo copy of educational qualifications (from matriculation onwards) including proof of experience, if any/caste certificate in the format prescribed by MRPL, copy of challan To DGM(HR), Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited , Post Kuthethur, Mangalore -575030.
