MPPGCL Invites Applications For Apprenticeship Training From ITI Candidates For The Year 2013
Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Co. Ltd. (MPPGCL) is a wholly owned company of MP Government engaged in generation of electricity in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is a successor entity of the previous Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board (MPSEB). The Company, while operating and maintaining its existing units, is also constructing new Power Plants for increasing capacity in the State of Madhya Pradesh.
With its recent initiative the MPPGCL is inviting applications from competent individuals who have completed 1 year or 2 years of ITI training in multiple trades for the Apprenticeship Training under the company. The details of the criteria is as mentioned below:

Motor Mechanic – 05 Positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Welder – 13 positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Electrician – 20 positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Boiler Attendant – 26 positions (Training Duration – 2.5 years)
Steam Turbine Operator – 10 positions (Training Duration – 3 years)
Switch Board Attendant – 05 position (Training Duration – 2.5 years)
Draftsman (Civil) – 05 Positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Draftsman (Mechanical) – 05 Positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Diesel Mechanic – 01 Positions (Training Duration – 2 years)
Earth Moving Machinery – 05 Positions (Training Duration – 3 years)
Instrumentation – 05 Positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Mill Write maintenance – 15 Positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Wireman – 05 Positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Sheet Metal – 04 Positions (Training Duration – 2 years)
Machinist – 05 Positions (Training Duration – 1 year)
Turner – 05 Positions (Training Duration – 1 year)

Academics:
The applicants must have completed one year of ITI training during the educational year 2010-11 or 2011-12 or should have completed their 2 years ITI training during the educational year 2009-11 or 2010-12. Apart from these candidates no other candidates will be considered for Training purpose.
Stipend Provisions:
For Apprenticeship Training the candidates will be allowed stipend as per the MPPGCL regulations
Mode of Selection:
The selection will be done on the basis of Merit through the marks obtained in the qualifying ITI examination.
Important points for consideration:
- The candidates must be natives of the state of Madhya Pradesh to be eligible to apply
- The lodging arrangements has to be done by the candidates. The company may provide lodging arrangements on nominal fees to selected candidates
- Candidates have to write the name of the Trade on top of their application envelop
- The application completed in all respect must be attached with relevant supporting documents before despatching to the MPPGCL
