Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited (JKSPDC), invites applications from eligible candidates (permanent residents of J&K State) for recruitment of 149 Junior Engineer, Surveyor, Geological Assistant, Draftsman, and Junior Assistant Positions; on Contractual basis for a period of two years after which the appointees shall be considered for regularization subject to their satisfactory performance of candidate(s) and policy of Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited.
Junior Engineer- 143 Vacancies in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, and Instrumentation Disciplines
Surveyor- 03 Vacancies
Geological Assistant- 03 Vacancies
Candidates will be selected on the basis of screening test, weightage assigned to merit for the Qualifications, and interview.
Selected male candidate shall have to serve for 5 years and female candidates for 3 years at the locations where they may prefer to be posted out of the various Projects as Baglihar HEP, Sawalkote HEP, Kirthai I/II HEPs, Lower Kalnai HEP, Ladakh Region, Parnai HEP, and PMDP Projects
Draftsman- 03 Vacancies, for Ladakh Region Only
Junior Assistant- 21 Vacancies, for Chenab Valley based Projects

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on 01-January-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Qualification:
Junior Engineer- Candidates must possess BE/B.Tech or Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks from a recognised university established by law in India/ AICET approved institute; OR AMIE from Institute of Engineers, Kolkata.
Surveyor- Candidates must possess B.Sc. in Geology from government recognized university with minimum 55% of marks in qualifying examination.
Geological Assistant- Candidates must possess M.Sc. in Geology from government recognized university with minimum 60% of marks in qualifying examination.
Draftsman- Candidates must have completed two year draftsman course from AICTE recognised institute with minimum 55% marks.
Junior Assistant- Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university, and have completed six months certificate course in computer applications.

Applicants are suggested to pay the fee through Cash/DD in favour of General Manager (Accounts) Corporate Office Srinagar/Camp Office Jammu.
