High Court of Jammu and Kashmir At Jammu invites applications from eligible candidates (permanent residents of the State of Jammu and Kashmir) for recruitment of Senior Scale Stenographer, Junior Scale Stenographer, Steno Typist, and Junior Assistant Posts.

Qualification-
Senior/ Junior Scale Stenographer- Candidates must be graduate form any recognised university, and have diploma in stenography recognised by state government. Candidates must qualify English Shorthand and type writing test with minimum speed of 80 words (70 words in case of Junior Scale) per minute and 40 words (35 words in case of Junior Scale) per minute respectively.
Junior Assistant: Candidate must possess Graduation degree from a recognized University, and have six months certificate course in computer application.
Steno Typist: Candidate must be Graduate or equivalent from any recognized University. Candidate must possess Diploma in Shorthand and Typewriting from a recognized institute, and having the speed of 60 Words Per Minute in Shorthand and 30 Words Per Minute in typing on computer key Board.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 40 years as on January 01, 2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale-
Senior Scale Stenographer, Junior Scale Stenographer: Rs. 9,300- 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
Steno Typist: Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/-
Junior Assistant: Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Written Test.
