Eastern Railway RRCER Kolkata invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for imparting training at various Divisions/ Units/ Workshops over Northern Railway.
Act Apprentices- 3115 Vacancies in Electrician, Fitter, Carpenter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Forger & Heat Treater, Mechanic/ Diesel, Welder Gas & Electric, Painter General, Machinist, Turner, Material Handling equipment mechanical cum operator, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance (MMTM), Refrigeration & Air Conditioner, Wireman, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant COPA, Book Binder, Mason (Building Construction) Trades.

Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: 27 September 2023
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 26-October 2023
Display of Merit List:
Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board.
Candidates must have passed ITI in relevant trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT recognized by Government of India.
However, for Welder (Gas and Electric), Sheet Metal Worker, Lineman, Wireman, Carpenter, Painter (General) trades; the minimum educational qualification is 8th class pass from recognized School and the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.
Age: The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on the cutoff date for receiving an application (26.10.2023). Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates. For Persons with Disability, upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/- Application fee is to be paid through ONLINE MODE. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
