Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites Online Recruitment Applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Drugs Inspector Class-II (Gazetted) (on contract basis) in the Department of Health Safety and Regulation under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, H.P.
Drugs Inspector in the Department of Health & Family Welfare- 09 vacancies in the scale of pay Rs. 10300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of CBT and personality test.

Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a post-Graduate Degree in Chemistry with pharmaceutics as essential subject of an University or the Associate-ship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India) obtained by passing the Examination with “Analysis of Drugs and pharmaceuticals” as one of the subject.
OR
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Graduate in Medicine of an University recognized and has had minimum one year postgraduate training in a laboratory.
Upper Age Limit: 45 years as on 01-January-2021. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Examination Fee:
General Category candidates: Rs. 400/-
OBC/ SC/ ST category candidates of Himachal Pradesh: Rs. 100/-
Female candidates/ Ex-Servicemen of Himachal Pradesh who are relieved from Defence Services after completion of normal tenure, Blind, Visually Impaired candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Candidates can make the payment through online by Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking through “e Payment Gateway”.
