BSF announced All India Examination for recruitment to the various posts of Para Medical Staff and Veterinary Staff in Border Security Force. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination, Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test, followed by Medical Examination.

Qualification:
Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse)- Candidates must have have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. Candidates must possess Degree/ Diploma in General Nursing Programme, and have valid registration as General Nurse and Widwife with central and state nursing council.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Laboratory Technician)- Candidates must have have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. Candidates must possess Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from any recognised institute.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Theatre Technician)- Candidates must have have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. Candidates must possess Diploma in Operation Technique or Certificate in relevant subject from any recognised institute.
Constable (Ward Boy/ Ward Girl/ Ayah)- Candidates must have have passed matriculation or equivalent examination. Candidates should have two years of working experience in the respective trade, or one year certificate course from a recognised industrial training institute, or two years Diploma from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the trade.
Head Constable (Veterinary)- Candidates must have have passed Intermediate/ 12th or equivalent examination. Candidates must possessing minimum one year course in Veterinary Stock Assistant from any recognised institution and have minimum one year post qualification experience.
Constable (Kennelman)- Candidates must have have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. Candidates should have two years experience in handling of animals from government veterinary hospital or dispensary of veterinary colleges or government farms.
Pay scale:
Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/- Pay Matrix Level-6 for Sub Inspector Position
Rs. 25,500-81,100/- Pay Matrix Level-4 for Head Constable Position
Rs. 29,200-92,300/- Pay Matrix Level-5 for Assistant Sub Inspector Position
Rs. 21,700-69,100/- Pay Matrix Level-3 for Constable Position
Age Limit:
Minimum 21 and Maximum 30 years for Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse) Position
Minimum 18 and Maximum 25 years for Assistant Sub Inspector (Laboratory Technician) Position
Minimum 20 and Maximum 25 years for Assistant Sub Inspector (Theatre Technician) Position
Minimum 18 and Maximum 23 years for Constable (Ward Boy/ Ward Girl/ Ayah) Position
Minimum 18 and Maximum 25 years for Head Constable (Veterinary) and Constable (Kennelman) Positions
However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
