Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Head of Forest Force, Government of Assam invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Constable under Assam Forest Protection Force (AFPF), to be deployed throughout Assam. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Test [Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Efficiency Test (PET)], Written Exam, and Medical Test.
Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or Class X from a recognised Board. Candidates must have fulfill required physical standards.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 01-January-2023. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per Assam Government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 14000-60,500/ (Pay Band II), with Grade Pay RS. 5600/-
