APSC Recruitment Advertisement 14-2017: Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the Post of Conservation Officer , Grade-II (Gazetted) under Directorate of Archaeology Assam.
Conservation Officer: 01 Vacancy, in the scale of pay Pay Band-3, Rs. 22,000/- to 87,000/- Grade Pay- RS. 9100/-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and/ or interview.

Qualification- Candidates must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering. Candidates having experience in archaeological preservation work or training in archaeological conservation works in a Government recognized institution will be preferred. Experience certificate from competent authority should be submitted.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01-Jan-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
