Vyapam as the service selection Board responsible for competent selection and recruitment of various positions in the state and state-subsidiary organizations is continuing rendering services for competent selection. With the recent announcement from MP Vyapam, huge numbers (Total 1519) of vacancies are announced for the posts of Rural Agricultural Extension Officer and others under Grade-III. The positions are open to public and applications are being invited for a combined selection examination and direct recruitment for general and PWD candidates.

- Rural Horticulture Extension Officer: 244 Positions (Direct Entry – UR-144, ST-44, SC-01, OBC-55)
- Agriculture Development Officer: 198 Positions (Direct Entry – UR-99, ST-39, SC-32, OBC-28)
- Rural Agriculture Extension Officer: 675 Positions (Direct Entry – 448 – UR-224, ST-90, SC-72, OBC-62 & Backlog – 227 – ST only)
- Soil Conservation Survey Officer: 320 Positions (Direct Entry – UR-160, ST-64, SC-51, OBC-45)
- Project Extension Officer: 69 Positions (Direct Entry – 07 – UR-03, ST-01, SC-01, OBC-02 & Backlog – 62 – ST-24, SC-19, OBC-19)
- Technical Assistant: 13 Positions (Direct Entry – UR-06, ST-02, SC-04, OBC-01)

Pay Scale:
- Rural Horticulture Extension Officer, Agriculture Development Officer & Soil Conservation Survey Officer: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.5200-20200 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.2800 and other permissible allowances.
- Rural Agriculture Extension Officer & Project Extension Officer: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.5200-20200 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.2800 and other permissible allowances.
- Technical Assistant: The candidates selected for these posts will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.9300-34800 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.3200 and other permissible allowances.
- The allowances may vary as per the rules of concerned department and nature of duty.
Educational Qualifications:
- Rural Horticulture Extension Officer: The candidates interested for these posts must have completed Graduation in Agriculture/ Agricultural Engineering/ Horticulture by the date of publication of this notification.
- Agriculture Development Officer: The candidates interested for these posts must have completed 2nd Class Graduation in Agriculture/ Agricultural Engineering by the date of publication of this notification.
- Rural Agriculture Extension Officer: The candidates interested for these posts must have completed Graduation in Agriculture by the date of publication of this notification.
- Soil Conservation Survey Officer: The candidates interested for these posts must have completed Graduation in Agriculture/ Agricultural Engineering/ Civil Engineering by the date of publication of this notification.
- Project Extension Officer: The candidates interested for these posts must have completed BSc in Agriculture/ BTech in Agricultural Engineering/ BSc in Forestry by the date of publication of this notification.
- Technical Assistant: The candidates interested for these posts must have completed Graduation in Agriculture by the date of publication of this notification.

Age of the Candidate: The applicants must have obtained at least 18 years of minimum age and should not have exceeded 40 years of maximum age as on 01-Jan-2015 to apply for these positions. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules (for specially-privileged category only)
Application fees: The candidates applying for these positions will have to submit the following fees
- For Unreserved category of candidates: 700
- For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates: 350
- For candidates appearing for backlog posts: Exempted from Fees
- Application made through MP Online will be charges Rs.70 extra as per rules of MP online kiosks
- The fees can be paid through cash at MP Online Kiosks and can also be paid through online banking facility/ challans
Mode of Selection: The selection for these posts will be done through a written examination followed by interview of the shortlisted candidates for these positions. This will be followed by verification of documents and final Medical Examination as per the discretion of the Vyapam.
Admit card/ Results: The admit cards for the written examination will be made available at the website of the Vyapam before the scheduled date for examination. The candidates are advised to take print out of the admit card so as to appear for the examination. The results will also be displayed on the same website in due course of action.
