Candiadates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary/ Food Processing/ Foreign Trade/ Plantation/ Management Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary/ Food Processing/ Foreign Trade/ Plantation from recognized University/ Institution.

Assistant General Manager- 11 Vacancies; Pay Matrix Level 10 (Rs. 56100 – 177500)
Candiadates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary/ Food Processing/ Foreign Trade/ Plantation/ Management Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary/ Food Processing/ Foreign Trade/ Plantation from recognized University/ Institution.
Candidates must have five years post qualification experience in the relevant fields.
Upper Age Limit: 30 years for Assistant Manager and 35 years for Assistant General Manager Posts. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government orders.
Application Fee: Rs. 300/- for Assistant Manager AND Rs. 500/- for Assistant General Manager
Female/ SC/ ST/ Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Applicants are suggested to pay the fee through online mode only.
Selection Procedure:
Assistant Manager POSTS:- Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam of 100 Marks (150 Minutes Duration).
General Awareness, English, Reasoning- 20 Marks
APEDA / Agriculture Export Related- 30 Marks
subjects concerned at Degree Level- 30 Marks
Essay writing and Precis writing- 20 Marks
The qualifying marks to be obtained in the written test will be 50% for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates and 60% for other candidates.
Assistant General Manager POSTS:- Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test consisting of two papers each of 2 hours duration and 100 Marks each, followed by interview of 100 Marks.
Paper 1: 100 Marks
General Studies inclusive of general knowledge and current affairs, Indian history & civics, geography of India: 50 Marks
Managerial ability: 10 Marks
English: 25 Marks
Reasoning: 15 Marks
Paper 2: 100 Marks
Questions relating to Foreign Trade Policy; WTO; Agri Exports including Agri Export from India/ APEDA/ Traceability systems; SPS/TBT; Quality; NPOP; IPR; Agri Export Policy; Food Safety Authority Questions from the subjects concerned at Degree level.
Paper 3: Interview of 100 Marks
