Eligibility Criteria:
Head Constable (T)- Candidates must have passed matriculation/ Class-X with English, Mathematics, and General Science Subjects from recognized board/ institution. Candidates must have fulfill required physical standards.
Head Constable (RT)- Candidates must have passed matriculation/ Class-X with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects for APST. Candidates must have passed Intermediate with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects for Non-APST from recognized board/ institution. Candidates must have fulfill required physical standards.
Note- Candidates possess diploma in Radio Telecommunication and Electronics will be preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years as on 01-Jan-2018 forHead Constable (T); and Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years as on 01-Jan-2018 for Head Constable (RT) Posts. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable for APST candidates only.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Scrutiny of Documents, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, Trade Test, Interview, Merit List, Medical examination/ character and antecedent verification.
Application Fee: Rs. 10/- for APST Candidates, and Rs. 40/- for general candidates
Applicants are suggested to pay the fee through Treasury Challan in favour of Assistant Inspector General of Police (E), PHQ, Itanagar under head of account “0055” Police.
