The benefit of reservation applicable to the candidates, who are bonafide residents of Punjab State only.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written test of 120 minutes duration, contain 100 multiple choice questions of one mark each.
Probation: Selected candidates will be on probation period of three years. On successful completion of probation period, pay of an employee shall be fixed at minimum of the pay band of the post including grade pay and other allowance admissible.

Qualification As on 08-May-2018:
Junior Engineer (Civil)- Candidates must possess three years Diploma of Junior Engineer in Civil Engineering from a State Technical Education Board or from a recognized university or institution.
Junior Engineer (Mechanical)- Candidates must possess three years Diploma of Junior Engineer in Mechanical Engineering from a State Technical Education Board or from a recognized university or institution.
Junior Engineer (Electrical)- Candidates must possess three years Diploma of Junior Engineer in Electrical Engineering from a State Technical Education Board or from a recognized university or institution.
Candidate should have passed Punjabi up to Matriculation or its equivalent level.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years for General (42 years for SC/ST/BC) as on 01-JAN-2018. However, further relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Application Fee:
Rs. 500/- for SC, ST, PH category candidates belonging from Punjab State
Rs. 1000/- for All other category candidates
