Note: Candidates are strongly suggested to verify that he/ she fulfill minimum eligibility criteria as required qualification and experiences before applying.
Upper Age Limit: 58 years for Professor, Addl. Professor; 50 years for Associate Professor, Assistant Professor; 35 years for Demonstrators/ Tutors; 33 years for Senior Resident posts as on March 16, 2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Professor: Level 14A (159100 – 220200) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.1,59,100/- per month and other allowances as admissible.
Additional Professor: Level 13A2 ( 139600 – 211300 ) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.1,39,600/-per month and other allowances as admissible.
Associate Professor: Level 13A1 (131400 – 204700) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.1,31,400/- per month and other allowances as admissible.
Assistant Professor: Level 12 (101500 – 167400) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.1,01,500/- per month and other allowances as admissible.
Senior Resident: Level 11 (67700 – 150800) of 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.67,700/- per month and other allowances as admissible
Tutor/ Demonstrator: Level 10 (56100 – 124500) of 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs.56,100/- per month and other allowances as admissible
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Personal interview for Professor / Additional Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor posts; Written Test and Interview for Senior Resident & Tutor/ Demonstrator.
Application Fee:
Rs.500/- for General (UR) & OBC category candidates
Rs.250/- for SC/ST category candidates
PwD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
