The Assam Administrative Staff College, Directorate of Training, Government of Assam, a research and training institute on public policy and public administration in Assam; invites applications from eligible candidates having registration in the Employment Exchange in the State of Assam for filling of Junior Assistant, Librarian, Audio Visual Operator Posts in the office of the Directorate of Training, Assam Administrative Staff College, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati.

Junior Assistant- 02 Vacancies
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Candidate must have computer skills for handling data and text on computer.
Librarian- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in Library Science from recognized University.
Audio Visual Operator- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent in any discipline from any recognized Board/ Council. Candidate must have diploma/ certificate or equivalent of Audio Visual Operating Systems from any recognized institutions.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01-January-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 14000/- to Rs. 49000/- (Pay Band-2) with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/- for Librarian/ Rs.6200/- Junior Assistant/ and Rs. 5600/- for Audio Visual Operator Post
Application Fee:
Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates
Rs. 250/- for General candidates
Applicants are suggested to pay the fee through Treasury Challan to the Head of Account “0070-Other Administrative Services- 60-Other Services-800-Other receipts”.
