AAI, Regional Headquarter (Northern Region) Invites Applications For Senior Assistant (Raj Bhasha)

Airport Authority of India (AAI) is the single organization in India for creation, up-gradation, maintenance and management of Civil Aviation in India, both in the air space and ground duties. This organization is intended for formation, construction, management of passenger and cargo airport terminals and maintenance of operation of air transportation all over India and pan-nations. AAI has been entrusted as a ‘MiniRatna’ category of Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) in India.

In continuation to the fill up the vacancies for Senior Assistant (Raj Bhasha) in the Regional Headquarter (Northern Region) and all the Airports under its control, the RHQ, New Delhi is inviting applications from competent individuals.

The details of the vacancies are as underneath:

Post to be applied for: Senior Assistant – Raj Bhasha – Group C – NE-6

Number of Vacancies: 06

Scale of Pay: Rs.14500 – Rs. 33500

Apart from the basic pay structure, the selected candidate will be eligible for other allowances and benefits as per the IDA norms of Airport Authority of India.

Last date of Application: 15-Feb-2013

Age Range (As on 15-Feb-2013): 18 – 30 years

  • There will be privilege of additional age relaxation for scheduled categories like SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWDs. A candidate may attach the photocopies of such certificates along with his/ her application form.
  • There will be no age relaxation for Government Servants and they have to apply through proper channel

Application Fees:

For General and OBC category of candidates: Rs.400

For all others (belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women): Fees exempted

Qualification and Experience:

Educational Qualification:

The candidate applying for the post should preferably have a Graduation in English with Post-Graduation in Hindi or A Graduation in Hindi with a Post-Graduation in English

Or,

Should have Post-Graduation in any other subject apart from Hindi/ English, with Hindi/ English as an optional/ compulsory subject in the Graduation level from any recognized University.

Or,

Post-Graduation in any other subject from a recognized University along with English as a compulsory/ option subject if the examination appeared through Hindi medium or Hindi as a compulsory/ optional subject if the medium of examination is in English.

Or,

Post-Graduation in any other subject from a recognized University along with Hindi/ English as a compulsory/ optional subject or, either of the subjects as the medium of examination, or as a compulsory/ optional subject and a Diploma in English-to-Hindi or Hindi-to-English Translation from a recognized Institution, or 2 years experience as a Hindi-to-English / English-to-Hindi Translator in any division / office under the Central/ State Government.

Essential Experience:         

The candidates applying for these posts are expected to have proficiency in Hindi Type-Writing.

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be base upon the performance of the candidate on written test, trade test (Hindi Typing) and personal interview. The most competent candidate as per merit will be offered preference for joining this post.

General Instructions:

i)             All documents and certificates in respect of educational qualification should be issued from any recognized University, AICTE or by the Central/ State board.

ii)            The candidature of an applicant will be summarily rejected, if there is any discrepancy found in the name, age, educational qualification, and other such details mentioned on the application form against which, sufficient proof cannot be rendered by the candidate.

iii)           For applicants claiming benefits under any special section, should attach the certificate issued from the competent authority as a support of claim.

iv)           The reference date with respect to age, qualification and experience will be 15-Feb-2013.

v)            Applicants in service under the central / state administration/ undertaking should invariably apply ‘Through Proper Channel’ and should offer a ‘No Objection Certificate’ in continuation to their candidature.

vi)           Any application received without signature of the candidate/ improperly filled / partially complete / without photograph of the candidate, will be summarily rejected and no further correspondence again this will be entertained.

vii)          Any form of external influence, canvassing will be declare the candidature ineligible and rejected.

viii)         The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding on the candidate.

ix)           Airport Authority of India reserves the right to enhance or reduce the number of vacancies as and when required in case of non-availability of suitable candidature.

  1. Candidates satisfying all the above conditions may apply for the above mentioned post in English/ Hindi in the prescribed format of application as available on the website of the Airport Authority of India at www.aai.aero
  2. Each application should accompany a Demand Draft for Rs.400 (Rupees One Hundred only) in favor of The Airport Authority of India and payable at New Delhi.
  3. The application form should contain the name of the post being applied for on the envelop, invariably.
  4. The application should be complete in all respect, or otherwise considered as rejected.
