Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam (UJVNL), invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Junior Engineer, Office Assistant, Stenographer, Technician, Draughtsman positions. Candidates must have valid registration in employment exchange of Uttarakhand State. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and skill test.
Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL) is a wholly owned Corporation of the Government of Uttarakhand set up for managing hydro power generation at existing power stations and development, promotions of new hydro projects with the purpose of harnessing, the known, and yet to be known, hydro power resources of the State.
Today, UJVNL operates hydropower plants ranging in capacity from 0.2 MW to 376 MW, totaling up to 1306 MW. Though the State is more or less sufficient in its energy generation to meet its own requirements, it is committed to develop its huge hydro power resources in an early and efficient manner for economic well-being and growth of the State and its people.

Junior Engineer (Trainee) – (Civil): 56 Positions
Office Assistant III- 02 vacancies
Stenographer Grad III- 04 vacancies
Technician II (Electrical, Mechanical)- 08 vacancies
Draughtsman (Mechanical, Civil)- 04 vacancies
Important Date: Last Date for Receipt of Application: 30-June-2016
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 42 years as on 01-July-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- for Junior Engineer (Trainee) positions
Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2600/- for Office Assistant, Stenographer, Technician, Draughtsman positions
Application Fee:
Rs. 80/- for SC/ ST category candidates belongs to Uttarakhand State
Rs. 200/- for All Other Candidates
