SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) was established in 1990 as a principal financial institution for the promotion, financing and development of industry in the small scale sector and to co-ordinate the functions of the institutions engaged in the promotion and financing or developing industry in the small scale sector and for matters connected therewith.
With the recent initiative, the SIDBI is inviting applications for various posts of Officers in Grade ‘A’ and Grade ‘B’. Only one application will be accepted from a single candidate. Selected candidates would be on probation for a period of 2 years which is extendable up to maximum period of 4 years.

Pay Scale and Remunerations:
The candidates selected as Assistant Manager/ Private Secretary Grade ‘A’ will receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.17100 – Rs.33200/- per month with an approximate initial remuneration of Rs.47000/- per month.
The candidates selected as Manager Grade ‘B’ will receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.17100 – Rs.36400/- per month with an approximate initial remuneration of Rs.57000/- per month.
Apart from that they will also be entitled to receive other perks and benefits as per rules of SIDBI.
Consultant (Merchant Banking, On Contract Basis) will receive remuneration Rs. 22.00 Lakh per annum.
Age Limit:
Candidates applying for post of Assistant Manager Grade A Security, should have attained the minimum age of 25 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years to be eligible to apply.
Candidates applying for post of Private Secretary – Grade ‘A’, should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years to be eligible to apply.
Candidates applying for post of Manager Grade ‘B’ Premises – Electrical Engineer, should have attained the minimum age of 24 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years to be eligible to apply.
Candidates applying for post of Manager – Grade ‘B’ Economist, should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years to be eligible to apply.
Candidates applying for post Consultant (Merchant Banking), should have attained the minimum age of 35 years and should not have crossed the maximum age of 55 years to be eligible to apply.
However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for scheduled categories as per rules.
Mode of Selection: Candidates applying for the posts in Grade ‘A’ will be selected on the basis of online examination, followed by Personal Interview.
Candidates applying for the posts in Grade ‘B’ will be selected on the basis of online examination, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Candidates applying for the posts of Consultant (Merchant Banking) on contract basis will be shortlisted on the basis of Interview.
