Indian Oil Corporation Limited invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Engineering Assistant, and Technical Attendant Positions for workmen category in Barauni Kanpur Pipeline, and Paradip Haldia Barauni Pipeline unit of Pipeline Division. Candidate can apply for one post only. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test of 60 marks, Trade Test of 25 marks, and Personal Interview of 15 marks.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 26 years as on 03-August-2015. There will be three years of relaxation in upper age limit for other backward class candidates, and five years of relaxation in upper age limit for scheduled caste candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Engineering Assistant (Mechanical)-Candidates must have completed three years Full-time Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering from Government recognized institute with minimum 55% marks (Pass marks for SC category candidates).
Engineering Assistant (Operations)-Candidates must have completed three years Full-time Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics and Communication/ Chemical/ Electronics and telecommunication/ Electronics and Radio Communication/ Instrumentation and Control/ Instrumentation and Process Control Engineering from Government recognized institute with minimum 55% marks (Pass marks for SC category candidates).
Technical Attendant-Candidates must have passed matriculation with ITI from Government recognized institute. Candidates should possess Provisional National Trade Certificate or National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT from Government recognized ITIs/ institute in relevant descipline.
Pay Scale:
Engineering Assistant (Mechanical/ Operations)- Rs. 11900-32000/- plus other benefits admissible as per the rules
Technical Attendant- Rs. 10500-24500/- plus other benefits admissible as per the rules
