Public Service Commission, West Bengal invites online mode of application from eligible candidates for West Bengal Samity Accounts and Audit Officer Recruitment Exam 2015 for Samity Accounts and Audit Officer posts in West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service.
Important Dates:
- Commencement of Submission of Online Application: 27-April-2015
- Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 18-May-2015
- Last Date for Submission of Fee: 20-May-2015
- Dates of Preliminary Written Examination: During Last Week of June-2015 at Kolkata Centre
Total Number of Vacancies: 20 (Unreserved – 09, SC – 05, ST – 01, BC (Category-A) – 02, BC (Category-B) – 02, and PH – 01)
Upper Age Limit: 32 years as on 01 January, 2015. Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs.9, 000-40,500/- (Pay Band- 4) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,700/-
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or must be member of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India or member of the Institute of Costs Accountants of India with Knowledge in computer operation.
Selection Procedure:
- Phase- I : Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
- Phase- II: Main Examination (Conventional Type-Written)
- Phase- III: Personality Test
Application Fee: Rs.160/-
Rs.160/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment).
SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal, and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
