Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is a Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. The Company was registered as a Public Limited Company with the objective of operating atomic power stations and implementing the atomic power projects for generation of electricity in accordance to the schemes and program of the Government of India
NPCIL is responsible for design, construction, commissioning and operation of nuclear power reactors. NPCIL is presently a company with the highest level of credit rating (AAA rating by CRISIL and CARE).

Age Criteria As on 24-May-2018:
Candidates age should be in between 21-28 years for Assistant Grade-1 and Stenographer Grade-1 Posts
Candidates age should be in between 18-30 years for Nurse-A, and Pathology Lab Technician Posts
Candidates age should be in between 18-25 years for X-Ray Technician, and Operation Theater Assistant Posts
Pay Provisions:
Pay Matrix Level – 4 for Assistant Grade-1 and Stenographer Grade-1, X-Ray Technician Posts
Pay Matrix Level – 3 for Operation Theater Assistant Post
Pay Matrix Level – 6 for Pathology Lab Technician Post
Pay Matrix Level – 7 for Nurse-A Post
Educational Requirements:
Assistant Grade-1: Bachelors Degree in Science (for Contract & MM) or Commerce (for HR, Finance & Accounts) with 50% marks. 40 words per minute typing speed in Computer Typing. Minimum 6 months of Computer course completion certificate.
Stenographer Grade-1: Bachelors Degree in any discipline with 50% marks. 80 words per minute shorthand speed in English and 40 words per minute typing speed in Computer Typing. Minimum 6 months of Computer course completion certificate. Hindi Stenography will be preferred.
Nurse-A: 10+2 with 3 years Diploma in Nursing/ Mid-wifery and should have registered as A grade Nurse. Degree in Nursing will also be considered with two increments at the initial joining period.
Pathology Lab Technician: BSc with 50% and DMLT with 60% marks. Or should have completed BSc with Medical Lab Technology with minimum 60% marks.
X-Ray Technician: 10+2 Science with minimum 60% and 1 year Certificate Course in Radiography/ X-Ray Technique
Operation Theater Assistant: 10+2 Science with minimum 60% and 1 year Certificate Course in Operation Theater Assistant.
Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be based upon the Written Test, Trade test and personal Interview as per the nature of posts and criteria for education. The selection will be done on a Merit performance basis only.
