National Institute of Technology, Patna invites application from interested and eligible candidates for direct recruitment of various Group-B non teaching posts on regular basis. Candidates applying for more than one post are required to submit separate application form, and application fee.

Upper Age Limit: 27 Years (30 years for Superintendent & Technical Assistant Posts) as on 29th November, 2023.
Educational Qualification:
Junior Assistant – Candidates must pass Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
Candidates possess Tally and other accounting knowledge, Proficiency in other computer skill; stenography skills, will be preferred.
Office Attendant – Candidates must pass Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board.
Candidates possess communication skill, record keeping etc. will be preferred.
Superintendent – Candidates must possess first class Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline or Master Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent Grade.
Technician – Candidates must pass Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized board with at least 60% marks. OR
Candidates must pass Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized board with at least 50% marks; and possess ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade. OR
Candidates must pass Secondary (10) with at least 60 % marks and possess ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade. OR
Possess Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in relevant field from a Government recognized Polytechnic/ Institute.
Technical Assistant – Candidates must possess first class or equivalent grade in BE/ B.Tech in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University/ Institute. OR
Possess first Class Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with excellent academic record.
Application Fee:
For SC, ST, and PWD candidates: Rs. 200/-
For All other candidates: Rs. 400/-

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test(s) / skill test(s). The information regarding written test will be furnished on the website of the Institute. No separate letter will be sent by post/email for this purpose.
