The Meghalaya Public Service Commission as one of the most respectable state level public service commission is in charge of recruiting various competent candidates for various profiles of positions under the government departments of Meghalaya.

With the recent notification, the Meghalaya PSC invites competent candidates for recruitment of Stenographer (Grade-III). The details of the vacancies and the recruitment profiles are mentioned as under:

Details of posts and corresponding requirements:

Stenographer (Grade-III)

• Department: Meghalaya Secretariat
• No. of posts: 24 numbers
• Pay Scale: Rs.10600 – Rs.20720 (Other allowances as applicable)
• Academics: Degree Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized University
• Age: Should be within 18 -27 years as on 1^st of January 2012
• Reservation: As per Government policy, where the vacancies are 09 or less than 09 all posts are reserved in favor of specified communities.

• Date of publication of this notification and starting date for receipt of application: 28^th of August 2012
• Last date for sending completed application form in all respect: 1^st of October 2012
• Last date for Online application: 1^st of October 2012 till 23:59 hours

Application Fees:

• For Unreserved category: Rs. 320
• For SC, ST, OBC & PWD: Rs.160

• The application fee can be remitted in shape of MPSC Fee Payment challan only
• The original Challan need to be attached with the application form

How to Submit the Application Form:

Off-line Mode:

a) The Applications completed in all respect can be deposited at:

• Office Counter of MPSC, Office, Headquarter, Shillong
• MPSC Cell at Tura, Nongstoin, Jowai, Baghmara & Williamnagar

(On any working day between 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM till the last date)

b) Applications can also be sent by registered post so as to reach the Commission’s office at Shillong not later than the last date prescribed.

On-line Mode:

Applicants may also apply online through the MPSC website at www.mpsc.nic.in. Last date for on-line applications is 23:59 Hrs on 1st October, 2012.
