Minimum Qualification Required:
Assistant Engineer (Civil): Candidate must possess Graduation degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Candidate must possess Graduation degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University.
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): Candidate must possess Graduation degree in Engineering (Mechanical) from a recognised University.
Assistant Analyst: Candidate must possess Second Class M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Sc degree in Chemistry from a recognized University AIC (Associate ship of the Institution of Chemistry) India by Examination in the Section of Inorganic Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry.
Assistant Engineer (CEW): Candidate must possess B.E/ B.Tech/ AMIE in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 18 years (21 years in case of Assistant Engineer CEW), and maximum is 27 years (30 years in case of Assistant Engineer CEW) as on January 01, 2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale-
Assistant Engineer: Rs 17,000 – 33690/-
Assistant Analyst: Rs 16,300 – 31,860/-
Application Fee:
Assistant Engineer: Rs.460/- for general category candidates; Rs.230/- for SC/ ST category candidates who are permanent resident of the State of Meghalaya.
Assistant Analyst: Rs.350/- for general category candidates; Rs.175/- for SC/ ST category candidates who are permanent resident of the State of Meghalaya.
PWDs candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
