Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM) invites application for the post of 508 Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) and Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) in Police Department.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk)- 381 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs.5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-
Candidates must have passed Intermediate Examination form recognized Board and One year Diploma in Computer Application/IT and Computer Proficiency Certification Test- CPCT passed.
Subedar (Stenographer)- 127 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.3600/-
Candidates must have passed Intermediate Examination form recognized Board and One year Diploma in Computer Application/ IT and stenography test passed form recognized Institute.
Age Limit: The applicants must be in between 18-25 years (33 years for MP domicile candidates) of age as on 01-Jan-2017 to apply for these positions. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules (for privileged category only).
Mode of Selection: The selection for these posts will be done through a written examination only. No interview will be organized for such positions. This will be followed by physical test, trade test, and verification of documents and final Medical Examination.
Examination Fees: The candidates applying for these positions will have to submit the following fees
Unreserved and OBC category candidates: Rs.500/-
SC/ ST/ Minorities candidates: Rs.250/-
Apart from this all candidates have to deposit an additional sum of Rs.70/- only to MP Online as Application Fees. There will be no fee for Direct Entry (Backlog) posts. The fees can be deposited through Net banking/ Online Bank Transfer or through cash at the designated MP Online Kiosks.

Educational Qualifications:
Constable: The applicant must have passed 10th Standard or Higher Secondary education, which is relaxed till 8th standard pass for ST category candidates.
Head Constable (Computer): Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. Candidates must also possess one year diploma in in Computer/ Information Technology from UGC recognised institute.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Computer): Candidates must be Graduate with Computer/ Information Technology subjects from UGC recognised institute; OR have possess three years Diploma in Computer/ Information Technology from Polytechnics recognised by Rajiv Gandhi Technical University. Candidates must also have obtained Certificate of Hindi Typing from a MP State recognized institute.
