MP Jail Department Recruitment 2014 – Common Selection Examination For 341 Positions Under Different Cadres
Vyapam (Vyabsayik Parikshya Mandal) as the service selection Board responsible for competent selection and recruitment of various positions in the state and state-subsidiary boards is continuing rendering services for competent selection. With the recent announcement from MP Vyapam, it requires competent candidature to join in the Jail department under State Home Department in the capacity of Guard, Teacher/ Assistant Teacher, Male-Nurse, Physical Training Instructor, Vocational Training Instructor, Investigator, Pharmacist Gd-II and Lab Technicians through direct entry and direct entry for backlog posts.
The details of positions advertised in this announcement are meant for direct entry of candidates in the above mentioned profiles. Pay Scale:
- Jail Guard: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.1900 and other allowances as applicable.
- Teacher/ Asst. Teacher: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.2400 and other allowances as applicable.
- Male-Nurse: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.2800 and other allowances as applicable.
- Physical Training Instructor: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 and GP Rs.3200 and other allowances as applicable.
- Tailoring Instructor: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.1900 and other allowances as applicable.
- Carpentry Instructor: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.1900 and other allowances as applicable.
- Weaving Instructor: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.1900 and other allowances as applicable.
- Investigator: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.2800 and other allowances as applicable.
- Pharmacist Grade-II: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.1900 and other allowances as applicable.
- Lab. Technician: The selected candidates will receive a pay scale in the range of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and GP Rs.2800 and other allowances as applicable.
Academics (as on the last date of submission of Application):
- Jail Guard: The applicants must have passed higher Secondary Education/ High School Standard under 10+2 system.
- Teacher/ Asst. Teacher: The applicants must have passed Higher Secondary Education (10+2) along with BTC/ D.Ed./ DSE.
- Male-Nurse: The applicants must have passed higher Secondary Education/ High School Standard under 10+2 system along with a 3 years Training in General Nursing. Must have been registered as a Male-Nurse in State Nursing Council.
- Physical Training Instructor: The applicants must have passed higher Secondary Education/ High School Standard under 10+2 system along with a Diploma/ Certificate Course as Physical Training Instructor.
- Tailoring Instructor: The applicants must have passed higher Secondary Education/ High School Standard under 10+2 system along with a Diploma/ Certificate Course in Tailoring.
- Carpentry Instructor: The applicants must have passed higher Secondary Education/ High School Standard under 10+2 system along with a Diploma/ Certificate Course in Carpentry. Must have 3 years experience in Carpentry.
- Weaving Instructor: The applicants must have passed higher Secondary Education/ High School Standard under 10+2 system along with a 1 year Diploma/ Certificate Course in Weaving. Must have 3 years practical experience in weaving.
- Investigator: The applicants must have passed Graduation Degree with Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Social Science as one of the subjects. Candidates having 2nd class Graduation Degree will be preferred.
- Pharmacist Grade-II: The applicants must have passed 10+2/ Higher Secondary with Biology, Physics & Chemistry. Should have completed Diploma in Pharmacy along with a valid registration with State Pharmacy Council.
- Lab. Technician: The applicants must have passed 10+2/ Higher Secondary with Biology, Physics & Chemistry. Should have completed 10 months/ 1 year course in Pathology Technician or Diploma in Medical Pathology.
Age Requirement:
- For Jail Guard and Physical Training Instructor: The interested applicants must have obtained a Minimum age of 18 years and should not have crossed Maximum age of 30 years as on 01-Jan-2015.
- For all other posts: The interested applicants must have obtained a Minimum age of 18 years and should not have crossed Maximum age of 35 years as on 01-Jan-2015.
- However, relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST, OBC and Women from Madhya Pradesh only as per rules.
Nativity:
- For all the posts demarcated for PWD and SC, ST, OBC only candidates having permanent nativity of Madhya Pradesh will be eligible for consideration.
- Candidates applying from other states will be treated as unreserved (UR) category and will not be treated for any sorts of relaxation in selection norms or any special consideration.
Mode of Selection:
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination, followed by Physical Fitness Test (as applicable) and Interview. The selection will be done on a merit basis and there will be fair examination at each stage for selection.
Application Fees:
- For SC/ST category: Rs. 250
- For all others: Rs. 500
- Apart from this all candidates have to deposit an additional sum of Rs.70 only to MP Online as Application Fees
- There will be no fee for Direct Entry (Backlog) posts.
- The fees can be deposited through Net banking/ Online Bank Transfer or through cash at the designated MP Online Kiosks.
