Latest Update: The Online Preliminary Exam of MPHJS (District Judge-Entry Level) (Direct Recruitment from Bar) Exam-2020, which was scheduled to be held on 16.03.2020, but was postponed due to Covid-19 Corona virus pandemic, is rescheduled. The said examination will be held on 30-September-2020, with SD-50 model with isolation, subject to depositing required extra fees of Rs. 277 + 18% GST on this amount, to Service Provider by the candidates. Pay Scale and Remunerations: The candidates getting selected for the position of District Judge will be entitled to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.51550-Rs.63070 along with other allowances and perks as defined by the MP Higher Judicial Service.
Criteria for Eligibility:
Age of the candidate: An applicant must have attained a minimum age of 35 years and should not have crossed max age of 45 years as on 01-January-2020.
Educational Qualification/ Experience: An applicant must have practiced as an advocate for a minimum period of 7 years as on last date for submission of application.
Examination Fee:
For Unreserved Category: Rs. 795.30/-
For all reserved category: Rs. 395.30/-

Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be done through a systematic procedure of Preliminary Examination, a Main examination and a process of Judgement Writing and Interview.
