Age Limit: Candidates should not have exceeded 32 years of age for general category in case applying for Machinist, Fitter General, Examiner, Heat Treatment Operator, Electrician, Fitter Electronics, Millwright Posts; and 27 years of age in case applying for Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk, Storekeeper, Fireman Posts as on 1st June 2015. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification Criteria:
- For the Posts of Machinist, Fitter General, Heat Treatment Operator, Electrician, Fitter Electronics, Millwright: Candidates must have passed matriculation and have NAC or NTC issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) certificate in the relevant trade.
- For The Post of Examiner: Candidates must have passed matriculation and have NAC or NTC issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) certificate in the trade of Machinist {for Examiner (Machinist)} & Fitter {for Examiner (Fitter)}.
- For the Post of Lower Division Clerk: Candidates must have passed intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. Skill Test Norms ‘Only on Computers’ English Typing @ 35 w.p.m. Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m. (Time allowed 10 mins.) (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m.) correspond to 10,50 KDPH on average of 5 key depression for each word.
- For the Post of Fireman: Candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent, and have completed Basic course on elementary firefighting from a recognized Institution.
- For the Post of Stenographer: Candidates must have passed intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- For the Post of Store Keeper: Candidates must have passed intermediate (10+2) from a recognized institution. Candidates should have basic knowledge of Computer application having ‘O’ level certificate as per Department of Electronics Accreditation Committee Certificate (DOEACC).
Pay Scale:
- Machinist, Fitter General, Examiner, Heat Treatment Operator, Electrician, Fitter Electronics, Millwright: 5,200-20,20/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-
- Stenographer: 5,200-20,20/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
- Lower Division Clerk, Storekeeper, Fireman: 5,200-20,20/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
Selection Process: Selection process will be based on Written Examination, Skill Test/ Trade Test/ Physical/ Endurance Test.
