Pay Scale:
Group ‘C’ Post: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-
Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Post: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/-
Qualification:
For Group ‘C’ Post- Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 12th standard with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent or higher education.
For erstwhile Group ‘D’ Post- Candidates must have passed matriculation/ 10th standard from Recognized Board or ITI or equivalent or higher education.
Scout & Guide Requirements:
A President’s Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover (OR) Himalayan Wood Badge Holder in any section.
Should have been an active member of Scouts Organization for the last 05 years.
Should have attended at least Two event at National Level and (OR) All Indian Railway’s Level (AND) Two events at State Level.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 29 Years for Group C Posts; Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 Years for erstwhile Group D Posts as on 01-January-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test of 50 Marks, Scouting Skill Assessment of 10 Marks, and 40 Marks on certificates.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 500/- for General and OBC category candidates
Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex- servicemen/ Persons with 40% or above Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes candidates
The examination fee to be paid through Indian Postal Order in favour of ‘FA&CAO’, East Central Railway, and payable at Hajipur.

Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 12th standard with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent or higher education. Candidates must possess degree/ diploma/ certificate in concerned discipline from Government recognized Institute.
Candidates having experience in the field and performance given on AIR/ Doordarshan etc. will get preferred.
