Yantra India Limited, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, invites online applications from Indian citizens for engagement of 57th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) of Trade Apprentices Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 and amendments thereof in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different States across India.
Trade Apprentice (ITI)- 3508 Positions
Trade Apprentice (Non-ITI)- 1887 Positions
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list.
Important Dates:
Opening Date for Submission of Online Application: 1st March 2023
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 30-MARCH-2023 EXTENDED TO 14th APRIL 2023
MERIT LIST: –
The merit list for non-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise on the basis of overall percentage of marks in Matriculation or Madhyamik (Class X standard or equivalent). A factory-wise common merit list will be prepared, and the trades will be allotted by each factory on Merit-cum-choice basis after selection.
The Merit List for Ex-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise and trade-wise, on the basis of simple average of percentage of marks both in Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% in aggregate in each).

Eligibility Criteria:
Trade Apprentice (Non-ITI)– Candidates must pass Madhyamik/ Matriculation/ Class X std or equivalent qualification from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks (minimum 40% marks in Mathematics
and Science each).
Trade Apprentice (ITI)– Candidates must possess ITI in relevant trade from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/ Ministry of Labour and Employment with minimum 50% marks.
Candidate must have passed Madhyamik / Class X std or equivalent (Minimum 50% marks in Matriculate / Class X std).
Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and Maximum 24 years as on 28.03.2023. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per central government rules.
Stipend:
Rs. 6000/- for NON-ITI (Matriculation/ Xth Class Candidate)
Rs. 7000/- for EX-ITI (ITI Pass Candidate)
Application Fee:
Rs.200/- plus GST for Unreserved and OBC Candidates
Rs. 100/- plus GST for SC/ ST/ Women/ PWD/ Others (Transgender) Candidates
