WBPSC Advertisement No. 30/2018– Public Service Commission, West Bengal invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment of Inspector of Lifts, Electrical Inspector, Quinologist, and Assistant Quinologist Positions.
Inspector of Lifts- 09 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications. Candidates should have minimum eight years regular engagement in the practice of electrical engineering including two years experience in the installation and / or maintenance of lifts.
Electrical Inspector- 04 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications. Candidates should have minimum eight years practical experience in an electrical engineering workshop or electrical power station.
Quinologist, and Assistant Quinologist- 02 Vacancies
Candidates must possess M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (preference will be given to an Applied Chemist or an Industrial Chemist) of an Indian University with a first class either in Master’s degree or in B.Sc. Honours degree (preference will be given to a person with sound knowledge in Botany).
Candidates should have experience in industrial concerns producing quinine or pharmaceutical drugs and, research experience for a period of minimum two years for Quinologist, and one year for Assistant Quinologist.

Offline payment of fees can be made up to the 9th January, 2019 at any branches of UBI. However, the Challan for making the payment in bank should be generated by the 8th January, 2019.
Upper Age Limit: 40 years (36 years in case of Assistant Quinologist) as on 01-January-2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- (Pay Band 4A) plus Grade Pay Rs.6, 600/- for Inspector of Lifts, Electrical Inspector, Quinologist Posts
Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- (Pay Band 4A) plus Grade Pay Rs.5, 400/- for Assistant Quinologist Post
Application Fee: Rs. 210/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee for online payment through debit/credit cards;
Convenience fee of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee for online payment through net banking;
Service Charge of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for offline payment through bank counter.
SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal, and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
