The West Bengal College Service Commission, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of
Assistant Professor in the various subjects in different Government-aided Teachers Training Colleges and Teachers Training Department of General Degree Colleges (except the Colleges administered by religious and linguistic minorities) in West Bengal.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 30-June-2017
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess required qualifications (for B.Ed./ M.Ed. Programme, Visual Arts, B.P.Ed./ M.P. Ed. Programme, Curriculum and Pedagogic Course/ Methodology Course) and experiences for recruitment in Teachers’ Training Colleges and Teachers’ Training Department of General Degree Colleges; in order to be eligible for consideration for Assistant Professor Posts.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 37 years as on the 1st January, 2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Selection Procedure: The eligible candidates will be called for interview. The printout of the on-line submitted application form, along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents are to be submitted on the date of the interview.
Pay Scale: Pay Band Rs.15, 600-39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/-
Application Fee: Rs. 1500/- for General candidates or Rs. 750/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently-abled Candidates
Applicants are suggested to pay the fee either by credit card/ debit card/internet banking or through e- challan generated during the online submission of the application form. In case of e-challan, the payment should be made at any Branch of the United Bank of India in India (Bank Charges Rs. 40/- plus the service tax as applicable).
