Educational Qualifications:
For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy, and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
Such candidates who qualify the SSB interview but could not produce Matriculation/10+2 or equivalent certificate in original at the time of SSB interview should forward duly self attested Photocopies to ‘Directorate General of Recruiting, Army HQ, West Block.III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi110066’ and for Naval Academy candidates to ‘Naval Headquarters, DMPR, OI&R Section, Room No. 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhavan, New Delhi-110011’ by 24th June, 2019 failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2018.
Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 2000 and not later than 1 st January, 2003 are eligible.
Scheme of National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II) 2018: The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:–

Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
Candidates are suggested to deposit the fee in any branch of SBI by cash [till 01-July-2018], or by availing net banking facility of SBI by using Visa/ Master Debit/ Credit card [till 02-July-2018].
Applicants who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode, should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only.
Note: SC/ ST/ Sons of JCOs/ NCOs/ ORs are exempted from payment of application fee.

The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. In case of any information/ clarification regarding their applications, candidature etc. candidates can contact UPSC’s Facilitation Counter near Gate ‘C’ of its campus in person or over Telephone No.011-23385271/011-23381125/ 011-23098543 on working days between 10.00 hrs. and 17.00 hrs.
National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy Examination (II) 2018 Result: Likely to be declared in Month of December, 2018.
WHAT NEXT: All the candidates who have successfully qualified in the written exam of National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy, are required to register themselves online on the Recruiting website within two weeks of announcement of written result. The successful candidates would then be allotted Selection Centres and dates of SSB interview which shall be communicated on the registered email ID.
