National Highways Authority of India, an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, invites applications from eligible candidates for WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for recruitment of Young Professionals from CIVIL ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE on contract basis on the basis of VALID GATE SCORE CARD MERIT for its field offices located all over the Country for execution of the Highway Projects.
Young Professionals
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. Candidates must have Valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Score in Civil Engineering discipline. Candidates having experience in Infrastructure and Road Sector will be preferred.
Candidates should be below 32 years of age as on date of interview.
Period of Contract- The period of engagement may be for a period of up to two years in the first instance, which may be further extended by one more year, based on the requirements of the NHAI and the satisfactory performance of the candidate(s).
Remuneration: Rs. 60, 000/- per month
The WALK-IN-INTERVIEW will be conducted on 28TH October, 2017 from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs at various Regional Offices and Project Implementation Units.

Selected candidates will have to join on 01st November, 2017
Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are suggested to appear before the Selection Committees for WALK-IN-INTERVIEW in the respective Regions of their preference, with all the original documents/ certificates as mark sheets/experience certificate, in support of age, educational qualifications, experience along with mandatory VALID GATE Score Card.
Candidates are also suggested to brought a set of self-attested copies of each of such documents and a recent passport size photograph along with the updated Bio-data (in the enclosed FORMAT), at the time of interview.

National Highways Authority of India came into operation from February, 1995 with National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988. It was established for maintenance, development and management of national highways. NHAI is an autonomous body that work towards catering country’s requirement of maintenance of national highways network. It strives to enhance user experience and meet global standards related to road networks. Working within a defined framework of strategic policies set by Indian government it helps promoting better quality of life and well being of economy. Till now, NHAI has worked for development and maintenance of about 71, 772 Km of National Highways.

In addition to these major projects, NHAI has been given authority to implement National Highways Development Project (NHDP). It is considered as country’s largest highways project ever that offers highest quality roads matching international standards. It is established to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow over highways. Various initiatives have been taken to improve and strengthen quality through NHDP. It is regulated in 7 phases.
