Period of Probation:
- The candidates selected as Specialist Officers in JMGS-I cadre will have to serve the bank for a period of 24 Months (2 years) from the date of joining.
- For all other Cadres the probation period is for 12 months (1 year)
Service Bond:
- The selected candidates as Specialist Officers will be required to execute a Service Bond undertaking to serve the Bank for a period of 3 years or to pay the Bank a sum of Rs.10000.00 in case he/ she leaves the Bank before the completion of the 3 years service period.

- JMGS-I (Risk Management)– Min. 21 and Max. 30 years
- JMGS-I (Engineering)– Min. 20 and Max. 35 years
- MMGS-II – Min. 25 and Max. 32 years
- MMGS-III – Min. 25 and Max. 35 years
- SMGS-V – Min.40 and Max. 45 years
- TEGS-VI – Min. 40 and Max. 50 years
- Relaxation in upper age limit will be as per rules
Academics Qualification & Experience:
- JMGS-I, MMGS-II & MMGS-III (Risk Management): 60% marks in Graduation/Post Graduation in Statistics/Economics or MBA from Recognized University. No experience is required for JMGS-I, where as 3 and 5 years of similar work experience is required for MMGS-II and MMGS-III category respectively.
- SMGS-V and TEGS-VI (Risk Management): Graduate or Post Graduate with minimum 55% of marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation from a recognized university. Applicants should be presently working as Chief Manager in any PSB/Private Sector Banks having minimum experience of 15 year for SMGS-V and for TEGS-VI Applicants should be presently working as AGM in any PSB/Private Sector Bank having minimum period of service of 3 years as AGM. The candidate should have 20 years of banking experience.
- MMGS-II, SMGS-V and TEGS-VI (Credit): The applicants should be Graduate with minimum 55% marks from any recognized University or qualified CA/ICWA/CFA (which will be preferred). Experience in similar capacity for 3 years in case of MMGS-II and applicants should be presently working as Chief Manager in any PSB/Private Sector Banks having minimum experience of 15 year for SMGS-V. For TEGS-VI applicants should be presently working as AGM in any PSB/Private Sector Bank having minimum period of service of 3 years as AGM. The candidate should have 20 years of banking experience.
- MMGS-III and SMGS-V (Economist): The applicants should have 55% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation in Statistics/ Economics from a recognized University. Candidate should be in the rank of Scale II or its equivalent having minimum of 5 years working experience as an Economist for MMGS-III positions. applicants should be presently working as Chief Manager in any PSB/Private Sector Banks having minimum experience of 10 year for SMGS-V.
- MMGS-III (Training Faculty): The applicants should be A graduate or post graduate in any discipline with min 55 % marks from a recognized university. CAIIB/ MBA (Finance) from a recognized university will be preferred. Candidate should be in the rank of Scale II or equivalent having minimum of 4 years experience in PSB/Financial Institution out of which 2 years as Faculty in Staff Training College.
- SMGS-V and TEGS-VI (ADC, Transaction Banking): The applicants must have a M. Tech/ B Tech / BE (Computer Science / IT) with minimum 60% marks. Applicants should be presently working as Chief Manager in any PSB/Private Sector Banks having minimum experience of 15 year for SMGS-V. For TEGS-VI applicants should be presently working as AGM in any PSB/Private Sector Bank having minimum period of service of 3 years as AGM. TEGS-VI candidates should have 20 years of banking experience.
- MMGS-III and SMGS-V: A candidate should be a Graduate or post graduate with minimum 55 % marks in either graduation or post graduation in English/ Mass Communication from a recognized university/ institution. For MMGS-III the candidates should have at least 5 years of Post-Qualification experience and for SMGS-V, the candidates should be working as Chief Manager in any PSU/Private Sector Bank for a minimum period of 1 year and his specialized field level experience starting from SC-III to SCIV should be for minimum period of 3 years including the experience of at least 1 Year in the rank of Chief Manager.
- JMGS-I (Engineering): A candidate should have a Degree in Engineering in Civil/Electrical/Architecture with minimum 75% or equivalent CGPA. No experience is required for these posts.

- The fee can be remitted through a Deposit Challan as per the format given in the Bank’s website (www.unitedbankofindia.com) at any of the Branches of United Bank of India
- No other mode of fee payment except through the challan will be accepted.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection will be made on the basis of performance in Personal Interview.
- Merit list of the candidates for final selection will be prepared considering the performance of the candidates.
