Uttarakhand public service commission has issued notification to invite application for the posts of Principal, Professors and readers in State Aurveda College of Rishshikul/ Gurkul Located at Haridwar. Applicants need to apply only if they qualify eligibility criteria for each post.
Last date of application submission: Candidates can deposit their application before 28 January 2013 till 6 PM.
Recruitment Details:
Candidates need to apply for different posts as per their qualification and requirement of commission. There are total 17 posts for which application is invited from candidates. Also it is required that candidate should mention their reservation if any at time of submission of application only failing which their plea will not be accepted later.
These posts are;
- Principal (Aurveda College): One post on pay scale of 37400 – 67000 + Grade pays Rs.10000/.
- Professor (Ayurveda College): Eight Posts on pay scale of 37400 – 67000 + Grade pays Rs.10000/.
- Reader (Ayurveda College): Eight Posts on pay scale of 15600- 39100 + Grade Pays Rs.8000/.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
The age for calculation of Minimum and Maximum age will be considered as on 01-07-2012
- For Principal – Minimum age 35 Years and Maximum Age 50 Years
- Professor – Minimum Age 30 Years and maximum age 50 Years
- Reader – Minimum age 28 Years and Maximum Age 45 Years.
Relaxation is limit will be given to candidates according to government rules and norms.
Educational Qualification:
Education qualifications and experience required for each posts are as below;
Principal:
- 5 year degree in Ayurveda from any recognized university in India
- Master degree in any disciple of Ayurveda from a recognized University.
- 10 Years of experience as professor or 5 years of experience as department head along with knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit etc.
Professor:
- 5 year degree in Ayurveda from any recognized university in India
- Master degree in any disciple of Ayurveda from a recognized University
- Experience of 8 years in related subject along with 3 years of experience as reader in any recognized institution.
- Knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit etc.
Reader:
- 5 year degree in Ayurveda from any recognized university in India
- Master degree in any disciple of Ayurveda from a recognized University
- Experience of 5 years in related subject as lecturer.
- Knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit etc.
Weighted will be given to candidates applying for these post as per rules.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be called for an interview for final recruitment. However, if number of applications will exceed from number of vacancies, a screening test will be conducted before interview. The timing and date for such test will be communicated to candidates. Minimum marks for qualifying interview are 45% for unreserved category and 35% for SC, ST and other reserved categories.
Examination Fees:
Candidates of unreserved category need to pay an account payee draft/ postal order of Rs. 130 in favor of Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Haridwar Payable at Haridwar. However, fees for reserved category belongs to Uttarakhand are Rs.90.
