Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UK PSC) has recently notified recruitment for various positions under Group B and Group C recruitment in the state government under various departments.

The applicants need to apply through the OMR application forms available at designated post offices as declared by the Uttarakhand PSC. The details of the Post offices for procuring OMR application forms can be obtained from the website of the UK PSC at www.ukpsc.gov.in.

The details of the requirements and the eligibility conditions of application are as mentioned underneath:

A.   Important Dates:

• Date of starting of receipt of OMR Application: 19^th October 2012
• Date of closing of receipt of OMR Application: 20^th of November 2012
• Dates for payment of Application Fees: In between 19^th of October – 20^th of November 2012 (both days inclusive)

Technical Officer: 1 position (unreserved)

Academics: 1^st class Post-Graduation Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or Microbiology OR, A Degree in Chemical Engineering

Pay Scale: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400

Nature of Posting:  Permanent and under the CPF scheme

Advantage: May be offered to candidates having NCC ‘B’ certificate, or 2 years experience in Territorial Army or having research experience in the above stream of study

Age: 21-40 years as on 1^st of July 2012

Assistant Director (Silk Development Dept): 3 positions (Uttarakhand SC – 01 post)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800

C.    General NOTE:

• There will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules
• Only natives of Uttarakhand will be eligible for relaxation in any respect

For Unreserved and OBC: Rs.130

For all others: Rs.90

NOTE: The applicants can pay this fees in shape of Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order in favor of “The Secretary, Uttarakhand PSC, Haridwar and payable at Haridwar”
