Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates must possess the degree of Master in fisheries Science or Master in Science in Bio-Technology along with Bachelors Degree in Fisheries Science or Doctorate/M.A. /M.Sc. in Marine Biology/Zoology along with three years of relevant working experience as required.

Age Limit:
Age of the applying candidate must fall within 18 -33 years as on 01/7/2012.
Age relaxation for SCs, STs, SC (A) s, DCs/ MBCs, BCMs, BCs, and Destitute and widows of all castes is provided. They age can exceed above 33 years but should be above 18 years.
Pay Scale:
Pay scale for the post ranges from Rs.15600-39100 along with the Grade pay of Rs. 6600/-.
Application Fee & How to:
The amount to be submitted by the candidates is Rs.175/- (Rupees one hundred and Seventy five only) (it includes Rs.125/- as Examination fee and Rs. 50/- as Cost of Application).
Exemption is given on the Examination fee only while all have to pay Rs. 50 as Cost of application.
Candidates can use online modes of payment like credit card, net banking etc. while for offline payment mode it generates a challan that has to be used for fee payment in Indian bank or Post Office (designated).
Application fee can be paid by both online and offline modes as available on the website during the application.
Selection Process:
Selection will be done in two stages.
STAGE1:-Main Examination (Computer Based Test format), followed by
STAGE 2:-Oral Test.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in above tests.
