Tezpur University, a Central University, invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of various Non Teaching Posts.
Upper Division Clerk UDC– 04 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level 4
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised university. Candidates should have working knowledge of computer.
Lower Division Clerk LDC– 04 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level 2
Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognised Board or University. A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English on manual typewriter, or A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on computer. [35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 and 9000 Key Depression per Hour (KDPH) respectively on an average of 5 key depression for each word]
Junior Accountant– 02 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level 4
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from any recognised university. Candidates should have working knowledge of computer.
Assistant Registrar– 02 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level 10
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in any subject with minimum 55%o of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC Seven point Scale.
Deputy Librarian– 01 Vacancy, Pay Matrix Level 12
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Candidates should have eight years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/ College Librarian. ICT in Library. Ph.D. degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science/ Archives and manuscript keeping/ computerization of library.
Information Scientist– 01 Vacancy, Pay Matrix Level 10
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Post Graduate Diploma in computer Applications (PGDCA) or M.Sc. in Computer Science/ Information Technology. OR
Possess Master of computer Applications (MCA) with minimum 55%o marks or an equivalent grade, or M.E./ M.Tech. in computer Science & Engineering / Electronic & Communication Engineering with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Candidates should have minimum two years experience in Library Automation, Library Networking and Application of Web Technologies in Library.
Technical Assistant– 01 Vacancy, Pay Matrix Level 5
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from any recognised university. Candidates should have two years experience in similar job in a college/ university laboratory or equivalent organisation.
Internal Audit officer– 01 Vacancy, Pay Matrix Level 12
