Public Works Department, Government of Tamil Nadu invites Online application from eligible Graduate/ Diploma holders passed during the year 2015/ 2016/ 2017 for engagement of Apprentices for one year Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
Graduate Apprentices: 325 Posts in Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering Disciplines
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: 175 Posts in Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering Disciplines
Candidates must possess Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
Duration of Training: One Year
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/ or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
Stipend: Rs. 4984/- per month for Graduate Apprentices, and Rs. 3542/- for Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

How to Apply: Interested candidates are suggested to enroll at www.mhrdnats.gov.in. Complete the application form. A unique Enrollment Number for each student will be generated. After verification of student enrollment by BOAT (Southern Region), a student can able to login and apply.
Step 1: Log on to NATS Portal using your User ID/E-mail ID and password obtained after enrollment.
Step 2: In the home page click on “Establishment Requests” Menu and Select Option “Find Establishments” from Drop down Menu
Step 3: Once you click on “Find Establishment”, below page appears with two “Search Criteria”. i.e. Options to Search by 1) Preferences and 2) Establishment Name
Step 4: Upload your resume in PDF format.
Step 5: Choose appropriate options, Preferences and click “Search” button.
Step 6: Once you click on “Search” you will get the Establishment details, select your Establishment, you wish to apply for the training. Applicants can apply up to 100 Establishments.
Step 7: Select “Apply” button given at the bottom of the page. Once you click on “Apply” button a message will appear as “Successfully applied for the training position. Based on availability, you will be contacted by the Establishment”.
