Supreme Court of India invited online applications form eligible candidates for DIRECT appointment to the posts of Chauffeur.
Chauffeur: 05 Vacancies, in Pay Matrix Level- 5 with initial Basic Pay of Rs. 29200 plus usual allowances

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test (to check knowledge about Traffic Rules and Regulations, Road Signs, knowledge of English Numerals and figures), and Practical Test (Driving Skills, and Mechanical Skills), followed by Interview (personality, driving habit, behaviour, temperament, technical questions, knowledge about maintenance of vehicle, safety precautions, fuel efficiency, automobile and general awareness).
Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ 10th standard examination conducted by recognised Board/ Institute and holding a valid driving licence to drive light motor vehicle (goods/passenger) with knowledge of motor vehicle mechanism.
Candidates should have minimum 3 years experience of driving a light motor vehicle.
Candidates should not be below 21 years and above 30 years of age as on 1.7.2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Fee: The eligible candidates will have to deposit Rs. 470/- per head as Registration Charges directly with Institute of Driving Training and Research, on the date of the Test. The fee can be paid only through Debit Card/Credit Card or Paytm.
