South Eastern Coalfields Limited, a Miniratna PSU, and a Subsidiary of Coal India Limited, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Diploma and Graduate Apprentices for a period of one year in opencast and underground mines of SECL.

Apprentices- 1532 Positions [Graduate Apprenticeship Training in Electrical, civil, Mechanical and Mining Engineering & Technician Apprentices in Mining/ Mine surveying]
Candidates will be selected on merit basis, followed by document verification and medical examination.
Trade of Apprentices
Diploma in Mining Engineering/ Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying- 1150 Positions
Candidates must possess minimum three years full time Diploma in Mining Engineering/ Mine Surveying or equivalent.
Graduate in Mining Engineering- 200 Positions
Graduate in Electrical Engineering- 83 Positions
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering- 53 Positions
Graduate in Civil Engineering- 46 Positions
Candidate must possess 4-year degree in relevant branch of engineering.
Note- (Duration of Diploma can be 3 years after class 10th or 2 years after class 12th/ 10+2 which is subject to the condition of getting lateral entry into 2nd year of such courses of the concerned students. One-year Diploma is not allowed), only through regular full time mode of education are eligible for enrollment in apprenticeship training.
Candidates should not have passed Diploma/ Engineering Degree, three years before the date of the joining as Apprentice.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years as on 19-December-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Stipend: Rs. 9000/- for Graduate Apprentice, Rs. 8000/- for Diploma Apprentice
