Name of Post: SCI Ltd. has invited applications from unmarried male and female Marine Engineers for Shipboard Training as Junior Engineers.
Nature of the Post: The post is technical in nature.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must possess Four year degree (Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Science in Marine engineering) from Directorate General of Shipping (DG), and AICTE approved Engineering College.
Age Limit (as on 01-04-2013):
The upper age limit is 28 years, i.e. the candidate must be born on or after 02-04-1985.
For SC/ ST candidate, he should be born on or after 02-04-1980. There is age relaxation of two years for women candidates.
Pay Scale: Short listed candidates will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs 25000 p.m. and other allowances during the training period.

The application fees to be paid is Rs 1000/- for General (UR) and OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST communities are exempted from paying the fees. Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview scheduled at The Shipping Corporation of India Limited, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Candidates successful in the Interview round will be called for Medical Examination.
