Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was established on 1st April, 1935. It is the central bank of India which regulates all the monetary affairs of Indian rupee. It plays an important role in economical policies and development of Indian government.
Name of Post:
RBI requires Library and Information Science Graduates who will be able to attend the work relating to creation of database of all the books, completion of bar-coding and shelving of old books in the Bank’s Central Office Library.
Nature of the Post:
Candidates will be appointed by the bank on contract basis for a period of ninety days for this post.
Total Number of Vacancies:
A total number of four candidates will be engaged in this job to work on contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria:
Those candidates who possess a degree of Library and Information Science awarded by a recognised university will be eligible for these posts.
Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 12000 that shall not include any reimbursements.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their qualifications and other eligibility criteria. Those shortlisted candidates will be called for interview by the selection committee at Mumbai office. Candidates will require arranging their own conveyance or interview. Organisation will not be liable to any kind of reimbursement to the candidates.
