Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, and
Maximum 30 years for general category candidates, 35 years for SC category candidates, and 33 years for OBC category candidates
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + Rs.3200/- Grade Pay
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science or equivalent from a recognized university. Applicants should have passed matriculation with Hindi/ Punjabi as one of the subject, and must have proficiency in operation of computers (word processing and spread sheets).
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test of 100 marks [General Knowledge of 50 marks and English Composition of 50 marks.], followed by Computer Proficiency Test, and verification of documents.

- General category candidates: Rs.500/-
- For SC/ OBC category candidates: Rs.125/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the fee in form of Cash Deposit Receipt, printed after completion of Step-I of registration, in any Branch of State Bank of India only; for depositing the fee under Screen 8888 (Fee Type-21).
Note:
Applicants who completes registration step I, should go to bank for deposit of fee only after four hours from the time of the step 1 registration. After depositing the fee in the bank, applicant will get a Unique Transaction Number/ Journal Number from the Bank, which is required to be updated by applicant on website at the time of Step II Registration.
