WBPSC Recruitment Advertisement 28/2017: Public Service Commission, West Bengal invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistant Geologist, Driller, Clinical Instructor, and Assistant Horticulturist Posts in the scale of pay (Pay Band- 4) Rs. 9,000/- – Rs. 40,500/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,700/-.
Assistant Geologist- 04 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or its equivalent of a recognised University or Institute. OR Diploma in Applied Geology of the Inidan School of Mines & Applied Geology, Dhanbad or its equivalent. OR B.Sc.(Honours) degree in Geology of a recognised University with one year’s experience in prospecting and/or mining.
Driller- 02 Vacancies
Candidates must posses diploma in Mining or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute or its equivalent with either two years experience in various aspects of Diamond Core Drilling and connected operations or successful completion of 74 weeks’ intensive training under the Drilling Training Programme of the Geological Survey of India/Indian Bureau of Mines. OR
Pass in School Final of a recognised Institute/Board or equivalent, with 5 years experience in various aspects of Diamond Core Drilling for minerals exploration and allied operations.
Clinical Instructor- 04 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Master Degree in Nursing/ B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration or any other Post Basic courses, namely Public Health Nursing Course.
Assistant Horticulturist- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must possess M.Sc. degree or equivalent qualifications in Horticulture of a recognised University or Institute; Or a degree in Agriculture; Or A B.Sc. degree with Botany as a subject plus a degree/ diploma/certificate of Training in Horticulture from a recognised Institution or three years’ experience in Horticultural practices.

Offline payment of fees can be made up to the 17th January, 2018 at any branches of UBI. However, the Challan for making the payment in bank should be generated by the 16th January, 2018.
Upper Age Limit: 36 years on 01.01.2017, relaxable for specially well-qualified and experienced candidates.
Selection Process: Selection process will be based on written exam, and interview.

Rs.160/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- for online paymentthrough debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment).
SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal, and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
