POWERGRID, has been assigned TBCB Works under ERSS – XXI package in the state of Bihar (Sitamarhi, Chandauti and Saharsa), Consultancy works in IOCL, Barauni and Railway Consultancy Works for construction of sub-stations and transmission lines.
POWERGRID, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of various positions on contractual basis for a period of two years. The contractual period may be further extended depending on the project requirement as well as performance of the individual.
Field Engineer (Electrical)- 07 Vacancies
Candidates must possess full time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from recognized University/ Institute With Minimum 55% marks. Candidates should have one year Post Qualification relevant Experience.
Field Engineer (Civil)- 10 Vacancies
Candidates must possess full time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engineering) in Civil discipline or equivalent from recognized University/ Institute With Minimum 55% marks. Candidates should have one year Post Qualification relevant Experience.
Field Supervisor (Electrical)- 04 Vacancies
Candidates must possess full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from recognized technical Board/ Institute. OR B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from recognized University/ Institute With Minimum 55% marks. Candidates should have one year Post Qualification relevant Experience.

Last Date for Online Payment of Fees: 22-December-2018
Upper Age Limit: 29 years as on 20-December-2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Remuneration:
Field Engineers engaged on contract basis shall be paid remuneration in the pay band of Rs. 30000-3%-
120000/- with initial basic pay of Rs. 30000/- + IDA + HRA + Perks @35% of basic pay
Field Supervisors engaged on contract basis shall be paid consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 23,000/- for the first year and Rs. 25,500/- for the second year

Rs. 400/- for Field Engineer
Rs. 300/- for Field Supervisor
SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PwD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
