Government jobs for Indians have had a special significance since time immemorial. For students from every class of the society, there is somehow, somewhere a wish that they would one day get into government jobs in the country and have a secured career and lifestyle. Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for these posts, candidates need to be eligible in terms of age with limit of 18 as minimum and 27 years as maximum. Minimum educational qualification needs to be 10+2 pass with 60% marks. Candidates should also have the knowledge of local language of the state in which they are applying or they should have studied Hindi language as a subject in curriculum till the level of matriculation. After the admit cards are downloaded, as soon as the eligibility is confirmed, people will be called for written round and then the typing round. Then the selected candidates need to undergo the interview round.
Process of Selection in 2012:
In the post office recruitment 2012, the written test was supposed to be of 2 hour duration with total of 100 marks while individual topics of general knowledge, mathematics, analytical and reasoning ability and English language, each having 25 marks. After this is passed, with the qualifying mark, the candidates have to go through the typing test, with 450 words in English in 30 minutes or 375 words in Hindi. The registration process for 2012 post office recruitment was done through online mode and therefore the confirmation, status check, admit card download, etc can be done online through email accounts.
Post offices, present in 22 postal circles all over the country, have about 450,000 employees presently, with majority of these post offices in India being in the rural areas. Hope for 2013
If this is the situation in 2012, it can be very well hoped that there will be further addition of posts, for which the 2013 post office recruitment would be conducted in a greater scale. Many students will successfully make it into the hue number of vacancies in 2012. But in the year 2013, there will be more number of jobs for which further advertisements will be published. If candidates are willing to secure good scores in 2013, then they will have to go through a sturdy preparation of various questions, which are coming in the post office recruitment. Not only would preparation have a greater significance but also the presence of facilities for online registration, checking status and the generation of admit cards have helped many candidates.
