Ordnance Factory, Raipur, Uttarakhand Invites Recruitment for Semi-Skilled Workmen 2013
Ordinance Factory, Raipur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, a Government of India subsidiary is inviting competent candidates from qualified individuals to appear for various semi-skilled positions. The details of the application procedure along with other vital details of the requirements are detailed as under.
All applications has to be submitted through proper format on a A4 size paper (neatly handwritten or typed), if a candidate fulfils all eligibility conditions:
Important dates:
- Last Date of sending completed application: 21 days from the date of publication of this Advt (Tentatively on 18-Feb-2013)
- Last Date for receipt of application from candidates from Far-flung areas: 27 days from the date of publication of this Advt (Tentatively on 25-Feb-2013)
Details of the vacancies and other requirements:
Name of the Post: Storekeeper
- Number of positions: 09 (SC-02, OBC-01, Ex-SM-02)
- Age requirement: The candidate must be within 18-27 years. However there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules
- Academics:
The candidates must have passed intermediate (10+2) qualification along with basic knowledge of Computers as per DOEACC certification
- Pay Provisions: –
The candidates will be eligible for a remuneration in the Pay Scale of Rs.5200- Rs.20200 along with Grade Pay of Rs.1900. Other allowances will be applicable as per the norms.
Name of the Post: Family Welfare Attendant
- Number of positions: 01 (UR)
- Age requirement: The candidate must be within 18-27 years. However there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules
- Academics:
The candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent
- Pay Provisions: The candidates will be eligible for a remuneration in the Pay Scale of Rs.5200- Rs.20200 along with Grade Pay of Rs.1800. Other allowances will be applicable as per the norms.
Name of the Post: Industrial Establishment (Workman Semi Skilled)
- Number of positions: 72 (SC-14, ST-04, OBC-07, PWD-04, Ex-SM-14)
- Trades: Optical Worker, Machinist, Miller, Fitter (General), Turner, Millwright, Electroplater, Electrician
- Age requirement: The candidate must be within 18-32 years. However there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules
- Academics:
The candidates must have passed matriculation with ITI or equivalent in specific trades. No Diploma or Degree holders in such trades will be entertained.
- Pay Provisions: The candidates will be eligible for a remuneration in the Pay Scale of Rs.5200- Rs.20200 along with Grade Pay of Rs.1800. Other allowances will be applicable as per the norms
Name of the Post: Labour (Un-skilled Workman)
- Number of positions: 50 (SC-09, ST-03, OBC-21, PWD-02, Ex-SM-05)
- Age requirement: The candidate must be within 18-32 years. However there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules
- Academics: The candidates must have passed matriculation or SSC or equivalent.
- Pay Provisions: The candidates will be eligible for a remuneration in the Pay Scale of Rs.5200- Rs.20200 along with Grade Pay of Rs.1800. Other allowances will be applicable as per the norms
Mode of Selection:
The selection will be done on the basis of Merit through a Written examination and trade test/ interview as required.

ii) SC/ST/OBC/PH (PC) certificates. Candidates claiming OBC status should note that certificate on creamy layer should have been obtained within 03 years before the closing date
